The Journey to the West attraction in Guangzhou

In Guangzhou (Canton), Guangdong Province, tucked away in the huge Yuexiu Park, there is a gigantic walk through attraction themed around The Journey to the West.

In multiple buildings your path winds through the adventures of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, and his companions. They are portrayed full size and often animatronically. There are funny sections and very scary sections.

In some cases I cannot identify some of the scenes or characters. I have not read all of the story. Please help me identify what is going on in each scene.

From the story about the Rat Demoness. The tablets say "To my Father the Heavenly King Li" (the one with the pagoda) and "To my Brother third prince Nezha" (thanks justwee in Singapore for the translation)

On one side of the corridor a Rat Wedding is taking place.

On the other side the Tang Priest is engaged in conversation with the Rat Demoness..

Next we enter a chamber of horrors. The fellow above was rigged to pull his own head off but he was nonfunctional this particular day.

In the Chamber of Horrors I am on the left with a young companion that joined us for this section.

This snake slithers out at the visitor. That chain is at knee level so that is a very BIG snake..
